It is very important for teachers to review test paper after each test conducted in class or exam. Teachers need to discuss the errors made by the students and need to do correction before it’s too late. Teachers need to clarify the required doubt of the students. But, as teachers we have to follow up the syllabus according to the time. And it is very time consuming to review the entire question after each test. For example, If you are conducting chapter wise class test, you may end up taking more than ten tests in a year and if you review every question of the test paper it may eat away many periods which may affect your tempo of finishing the syllabus in time.

So in order to avoid those circumstances, it’s better to find out the most common mistake made by the students and discuss that question in the review classes. Teachers can change the method of teaching for that particular question to clarify students’ doubts.

HOW TO FIND OUT THE MOST COMMON MISTAKES?

Suppose you have set 10 questions for particular classes and there are 30 students in the class. After the test teachers can Analysis the test paper and record the data in the following formate.

From the above table, it is clear that most of the student struggle in Question no 8, 7, 4 and 10. So the teachers can focus on those mistakes and clarify your doubt. In this way teachers can save time and carry on with the syllabus as per the plan.
